Mosli Sinbal or simbal at sknatural is the root of Bombax malabaricum DC. People also use gum of this tree along with roots. It is warm and moist in first degree. It belongs to family malvaceae. \n
Plant description:
\nGenerally, it is a large tree with sharp thorns on its branches and twigs. This tree is found in the warm regions of India, Sri Lanka, Burma, and Sumatra. Its fruit resembles that of the ackee. The seeds inside are wrapped in soft wool. The bark is of a bluish-black color. The root of this tree comes out of the ground like a radish. They cut its pieces into small parts and dry it in the shade. It is called Musli Simbal, and the resin of this tree is called "Mochras." \n \nIn the spring season, the leaves of this tree emerge. Each leaf has five leaflets, which are 2 to 3 inches long and quite thick. When people cut its wood, it is initially white, but after some time, it turns black. The flowers are red and shiny. \n
