AQR QARHA  or pellitory roots also called as Longwort and Anacyclus Pyrethrum. Generally, it is widely recognized for its potent ability to alleviate toothache and stimulate saliva production. The Pharmacopoeia recommends its use as a masticatory and in lozenge form for its reflex action on the salivary glands. Therefore, to alleviate dryness of the mouth and throat. Apply the tincture derived from the dried root directly to relieve the pain of a decayed tooth by using cotton wool or rubbing it on the gums. Dentists often enhance its effectiveness by combining it with camphorated chloroform. Hence, it's a common ingredient in various dental care products.

Precaution:
Typically, in larger doses, it acts as an irritant to the intestinal mucus membrane. Therefore, leading to symptoms such as bloody stools, tetanus-like spasms, and profound stupor. When applied to the skin in sliced form, it functions as a rubefacient and local irritant, inducing heat, tingling, and redness.

Prepare a gargle by mixing two or three teaspoonsful of Pellitory with a pint of cold water. Thus, you can also add honey if you need, for sweetness. This gargle is recommended for conditions such as a relaxed uvula and partial paralysis of the tongue and lips.
