Guggul, گوگل, Commiphora wightii, Muql, Gugal, Boe-Jahudan, Salai tree, Gum-gugal are the common names for the flowering mukul myrrh tree, its scientific name is Commiphora Mukul. It is a very important herb in the Ayurvedic tradition and while it is rarely taken by itself, an entire class of medicines has been built around the use of guggul. It belongs to family "Burseraceae". Its temperament is warm in third order, dry in second order.
