Composition:

\nPurified native hydrated aluminum silicate with a variable composition, finely powdered and devoid of gritty particles through elutriation (washing separation) and subsequent drying. It appears as a fine white or grayish-white smooth powder, devoid of odor and nearly tasteless; however, when mixed with hot water, it emits a clay-like scent. It exhibits near-insolubility in water and organic solvents, as well as in mineral acids and solutions of alkali hydroxides. Pure kaolin typically comprises approximately 70% alumina, 26% silica, and 4% iron oxide. \n

Medicinal uses:

\nPeople apply this product  locally as anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, hygroscopic, counter-irritant, sedative, soothing and vulnerary.  They have long been recognized it for its antidiarrheal properties, often used to stabilize stools and halt loose motions. Moreover, this is beneficial in treating intestinal ulcers, uterine ulcers, and menorrhagia when administered with an appropriate vehicle. People combine it with powdered (roasted) alum to cure cases of gonorrhea and the burning sensation during urination, \n \nFurthermore, people mix it with vinegar and apply it to conditions such as erysipelas, erythema, herpes, and burns. Further its application with suitable herbs proves effective in managing leucoderma. Moreover, it helps alleviate pain associated with both internal and external inflammations. It has properties as sweet, astringent, anti-phlegmatic, anti-bilious and cooling. This is used to treat skin diseases, piles, bleeding disorders, ulcers, boils, urticaria, vomiting, hiccups, etc. \n \nIn addition, it offers several benefits for the skin, including its purifying and detoxifying properties. This natural clay effectively exfoliates the skin, removing dead skin cells and unclogging pores, which helps prevent acne and other skin disorders caused by impurities.
